Issue Flow Continuity
ExperimentalAn experiment that preserves a server-centered Laravel and Livewire issue management flow as an operational record for small teams.
Small-team internal tool, issue creation, assignment, comments, status management, Livewire server-driven UI, single Laravel monolith
Project explanation
Overview
Issue Flow Continuity is a server-centered issue management experiment built with Laravel and Livewire. It keeps issue creation, assignment, comments, and status flow inside a single Laravel monolith for small-team internal work.
Operational View
This project is an archive node for a small internal tool, not a generic SaaS page. The focus is whether issues can move through creation, assignment, discussion, status changes, and priority changes as durable operational records.
Structure
Browser requests move through routes into Livewire components, then through services and models into the database. The project prioritizes server-driven UI, policy-based authorization, job-based async work, and DB-backed runtime services over a separate REST API surface.
Browser -> Route -> Livewire -> Service -> Model -> Database
Technical Notes
The technical axis is Laravel 13, Livewire 4, Tailwind CSS, and Vite. SQLite is the default database, with room to expand to MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL. Sessions, cache, and queues start on database-backed drivers, authorization is policy-based, and async processing is separated into jobs.
Feature Scope
The initial scope covers issue creation and management, assignee and participant collaboration, comment-based discussion, status and priority flow, dashboard summaries, email verification, and password reset. The UI is recorded as a Livewire server-driven interaction model without a separate REST API layer.
